  5. Hollywood Trivia is being released as Shareware, please feel free to upload
  6. it to any BBS.  However, your archive must contain all of the original
  7. files, including this one.  Hollywood Trivia is copyrighted and may not be
  8. sold for a profit (except the normal disk copying fee).

  18. I have set the shareware fee very low considering the time and effort that
  19. went into writing this program.  If users show an interest in this game
  20. updates will be released.  This could include new pictures, new subjects
  21. and questions, and an editor allowing you to write your own questions.

  26.                          ** SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS **
  27.  
  28. This is easy.  Once you have decompressed the archive you should have two
  29. directories (Pictures and Text) and three files (HollywoodTrivia, 
  30. HollywoodTrivia.info and ReadMe).  Copy these files and directories onto
  31. a freshly formated disk and you're ready to go.
  32.  
  33. NOTE: If you have a disk optimizer such as BAD or FlashDisk! I suggest
  34.       you use it to perform the above copy operations.  These utilities
  35.       do a great job of speeding up disk access and reducing drive noise.

  40.                           ** PLAY INSTRUCTIONS **
  41.  
  42. HollywoodTrivia is a very easy game to play, simply double click on the
  43. icon and follow the prompts.  After the opening screen is displayed click
  44. the left mouse button to continue.  Once the game screen has scrolled open,
  45. go to the subject menu and choose a topic.  Each topic contains fifty
  46. questions and a related picture.  After a few seconds of disk access the
  47. first question will appear, along with four possible answers.  Now just
  48. click on the gadget next to the answer you want.  Every time you answer a
  49. question right you will be shown a small portion of the picture in the
  50. blue graphics box.  Once you have answered all fifty questions the entire
  51. picture will be displayed and you will be asked to choose another subject.
  52. There are eight subjects containing a total of 400 questions.

  64.   About - This opens a window and begs for money.

  66.   Quit  - Quit the game.  You may choose this option at any time.

  69. CONTROL

  71.   Hint - If you come to a question that you find very difficult,
  72.          pick this option and you will be given a hint.  One of
  73.          incorrect answers will be eliminated, leaving you with
  74.          only three answers to choose from.

  76.   Sound - Toggles the sound on and off.
  77.  
  78.   Show Answer (3) - If you come to a question that you find impossible,
  79.                     pick this option and you will be shown the correct
  80.                     answer. You may use this option only three times
  81.                     during each subject. The number (x) indicates how
  82.                     many free answers you have left.

  84.   Show Title - This displays the games title bar.  The screen can now
  85.                be pushed to the rear, giving you access to Workbench.

  129. If you ever get an error message from the game it is most likely due to a
  130. corrupt or missing file. Check the list above and make sure all of the files
  131. and directories are on your game disk.

  133. You can play Hollywood Trivia from a hard disk or from RAM.  Please note
  134. that the directories -Pictures- and -Text- MUST be in the same directory
  135. as the game program.
